Lift the presser foot and needle, then pull the fabric back and forth through the roll groove at the front of the presser foot. Ensure the fabric edge is under the needle before putting down the presser lever. Sew 2-3 stitches slowly to guide the fabric into the roll groove and continue sewing until the hem is complete.
